Fish oil and acne?

I take fish oil supplements everyday for a number of reasons. But little did I know it can help acne?!?! I read that if you want more immediate results with helping with getting rid of acne is to use a liquid form of fish oil on your face? Has anybody tried this? Had results? Does anybody have any tips? TIA

And also, if I use it on my face can I still take my one supplement that I take daily, the ones I take calls for 3 but I only take 1.
