I want to get a heart rate monitor with a calorie counting feature, but the last one I bought from Sports Authority (around $50) gave me inconsistent readings throughout my workouts so much so that it was funny. My heart rate would be 150 during warm-up and 65 when I was cranking it. Anyway, no surprise it's no longer working at all. Which one do you use and why that one, how accurate and consistent is it, and how much was it?

I use the Mio Drive from Academy sports, $44, it has been great and very consistent, lets you set your resting heart rate, age, and gender. They have women's versions of Mio as well. Mine is strapless.0
