I posted a question about Turbo Fire a few weeks ago and I'm starting it tomorrow. I went away for 2 weeks & am back and ready to rock. :) There's exactly 3 months till my 21st birthday and I want to be under 200 by then, preferably around 185. :) I'm currently 245lbs.

So any tips, advice, or anything that you liked or didn't like about turbofire please share. :)

Thanks!

p.s * this was a reposted question, I wasn't sure if it went through the 1st time, sorry about that*

I would like to know also, seriously considering it.. Does it give you a set plan of when to do what?

I only did it for 12 weeks and wasn't very good with my diet but I lost 12lbs from 161-149.
  • I ordered Turbo Fire 7 months ago. I was too intimidated to use it because of my weight. I'm 5'9'' and 250 pounds. I usually eat healthy for the exception of days when I seem to binge eat due to stress (if anyone has some idea on how to control this, email me please?)

Anyhow, I did my FIRST Turbo Fire class today and it was FUUUUUNNN!!! I started sweating within 7 minutes of the class. I'm optimistic and plan on continue using this...if you need a motivation buddy, I'm her! :)
  • Absolutely. There is a set schedule that you can follow and it'll tell you when to have a rest day. I followed it to a tee a couple of months ago and after falling off at the end of the 12 weeks, I had only lost 10 lbs. I recently started again with my second round and I'm really pushing myself to go through the regular 12 week program and then use the advanced classes to continue for the extended weeks. It's REALLY a lot of fun! Chalene is really upbeat and motivating, you really couldn't ask for a better "instructor."

This time I'm following it to my own schedule - basically instead of having a rest day on Wednesday as the schedule says, I am having a Tuesday rest day - so I just tailored the preset schedule to a calendar on my computer. I'm stuck at a plateau so hopefully this is what I need to do to get over it. Feel free to friend me if you have any additional questions! :-)

Yup, I love it! I almost completed a 12 week round several months ago but quit just shy of the end due to personal stuff going on. I lost about 8 lbs in that time, but I ate like complete crap for the majority of it. Only when I started eating better did most of the weight come off. So I'm trying to do it right this time. I'm in week 3 now. I'm a Beachbody coach so feel free to friend me or ask any other questions :)

Just saw your post on Turbofire - it is by far my most favorite workout of all time. It's a bit difficult at first until you get used to the moves but the energy Chalene Johnson brings to the workouts is amazing, the music is phenomenal, and I loved waking up every morning to do my workouts.

To answer the other post on here - yes, the program comes with the videos, a workout calendar, a resistance band, and a nutrition guide.

Hope it's been going well for you so far!

    Mel
