I am curious who has had tattoos BEFORE they lost the weight and how they look now.

I'm a pretty big girl(265lbs) with a goal of 125lbs. I really wanted to get a tattoo in repect for my daughter and I want it on my bac-shoulder. I'm curious if I get it when I want to (this december on her birthday) if it will change much and look bad when I reach my goal weight. what do you think? pictures appreciated!

    Anyone?
  • My tattoo that I got when I was at my ideal weight of 120 looks the same. It's on my right arm. After getting pregnant and gaining weight it still looks the same. I have a lower back tattoo and besides fading and the occasional stretch mark it looks the same. My forearm tattoos all look the same as well. When I lost weight after my daughter...they looked the same. Now I've had baby #2 and working to lose that weight but I'm guessing my tattoos will stay the same but its due to the location.

I don't have pix because I should be working lol.

If you're getting it on your shoulder, it shouldn't change at all. I have several tattoos, and they all looked the same when I had lost so much weight yrs ago, only diff is, the ones on my forearms actually wrap all the way around like they are supposed to..lol
