i was told by a p.e. teacher in health class that if you are 5 feet you should be no more then 100 pounds then for every inch taller you are add five pounds does that sound right? she was an older lady so maybe things have chnaged sense she went through school.

I'm 5'3 and 120... My trainer said I need to be 110-115 with 16-18% body fat. So maybe that is correct? :)

I'm 5'4" and when I weighed 120lbs I looked gross. Gained 15lbs and looked great... but I probably looked the best ever in my life when I was 150 and very fit. I think it's about what's comfortable and healthy so I don't think "ideal" weight is important.

I am 5 foot 1 and my healthy range is 107 to 132. I think the last time I saw that was approx. 15 yrs ago :)

I'm 5'3 and am pretty sure I wouldn't want to be 110-115. I signed up for a gym ages ago and I remember them putting me at a goal of 120-125ish?
I am at about 128 right now and if I just could lose some thigh, I'd be 97% okay with my body. That said, I don't think I need to lose 13-18 lbs of thigh ;)
I think it's to each their own. Whatever makes you happy and is in healthy range..
