Selling my TV. What would be a fair price.

I am selling my tv. I am not sure what a fair value would be. It's a Sony-KDL-40V5100. I got it on Feb 1st, 2010. Used it a good bit. But the tv still is in great shape! I love this tv and hate to part with it. But I need a new camera and I'm moving across country in a couple months anyways. Any idea what I should start the asking price at?

I know consignment is generally 70% of retail, but I don't know if this applies to electronics. Maybe check craigslist & ebay for comps?

I would say $450. But if you threw in some Shakeology, they may pay more.........................

Amazon is selling a used one for $599.

We have one similar to that but it's a 42 inch Bravia 1080p. We got ours 3 or 4 years ago though, and paid quite a bit ($1k).

Here's a new one comparable to yours, going for $800: http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=A4601337&dgc=SS&cid=50390&lid=1305792

    I'd say $500 for yours.
