I do one body part a day i.e.

Tuesdays: Biceps and Legs
Wed: Triceps and wrists
Thu: Shoulders
Fri: Chest
Sat: Back
Sun: Mixed

Should I do weights daily or alternate days? I have heard benefits of both. Pl enlighten!!

Nah. You can lift everyday. I start big and go backwards.

    Monday: quads
    Tuesday: back
    Wednesday: chest
    Thursday: hamstrings and shoulders
    Friday: arms

I work and workout at a bootcamp. As long as you are not training one area two consecutive days in a row you are fine. We do Chest/tris(usually when you work your chest your tris are working too), legs and shoulders, back/bis(again when you do back biceps are usually included), then we do leg and shoulders again. One leg day is endurance, the other is strengthening. What your doing isn't a problem.
