Hi,
Okay so I wanted to know if there are any alternatives to the prone jackknife exercise. I'm 227 and I tried these bad boys at home and it didnt go so well. I'm so glad I tried this at home BEFORE I embarassed myself at the gym![:( :(](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/frowning.png)
1) I could barely get on the ball
2) When I did get on the ball, I fell off (lol!!!)
3) I had no sense of coordination at all.
I feel I can do pretty much all of the exercises, EXCEPT for this one, any one else not do them or found an alternative?
( I don't remember seeing an alternative in the book, as I had to return it to the library, mines on order from Amazon).
Thanks

Start with walk-out planks with your legs/feet on the ball? I suspect you need to build up your stability, I know I'd have trouble doing jackknifes on a fit ball.0

Thanks for the advice I will try it0

I was going to say mountain climbers on the floor. get into a plank position on the floor and alternate bringing in one leg at a time.0

work on bracing your core and not rotating during the work, this will help with your balance and stability.0 -

That's sounds really doableI'm going to try both suggestions mentioned, thanks
