Diet pills?

Hi everyone!
So I know diet pills are never the best thing to do, but I have a physical condition making it difficult to workout all that much. I've been doing some research on todays best diet pills, and I had come across Phenphederine and Fenfedra. Both of these are rated #1 on multiple websites, and seem to do multiple things (burn fat, curb appetite, and make you feel good). I was wondering if anybody had tried either of these or perhaps swears by something else? Have you found a website that sells them significantly cheaper than a health store? I know some of these "top of the line" weightloss pills can go for $100+, so I want to make sure I get the very best after spending so much money on them!
If any of you have any info, it is greatly appreciated!
Thanks much,
Cassie

Hey there, I tried duromine which is phenphederine I believe. Worked well for the first week, got me motivated to start training but feltNO effects after that.... Definitely not worth the $100 a month I was paying Whereas some people feel the effects too much, and can't sleep, don't eat... etc.
On a different note, if they work well for you.... or even if they only work for one week, they are a great way to kick start into healthy habits.
You really just have to weigh up the negatives and positives and peak to your doctor about it.0 -
You can lose weight with diet alone. Just eat less than you burn during the day.
Diet pills are expensive, and most are either ineffective and/or have nasty side effects.0 -

Urgh, many many many years ago I tried those diet pills that Anna Nicole Smith was a spokesperson for - trimspa or thinspa or something! I think it was more of a placebo effect than anything - mind over matter and all that. One day I pretty much choked on one of the gigantic pills and then realized that there were healthier ways to loose weight without putting god knows what into my body!
Wow, now that I think about it that was probably the start of my journey 7 years ago!0 -
You have to be careful because a lot of those are knock-offs of ephedrine, which has been banned in the US. I'm not sure if it's illegal to sell them to a US resident from another country or not, but if you see it's being sold from another country, and it's that expensive, it's probably illegal here, and for a reason.
I would also be interested in an appetite suppressant that doesn't give me bad side effects. I would just like something to help me get a grasp on eating. I know what foods to eat, but can stray easily.
Also, I have a knee injury (torn acl and torn meniscus, same knee, 6 months apart... no insurance for surgery). When I put myself on a 1200-1600 calorie/day diet I lost 25 lbs in 3 months without complete compliance, and with little effort. No exercise. I don't know why I can't get m head back into that mode again!0 -
some diet pills causes dehydration thus making you think that you lost weight when actually you just lost a lot of water.0

Wiki has a good article on the legality of Ephedrine in the US if you are interested in checking it out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ephedrine#USA
Both ephedrine and ephedra are banned as dietary supplements in the US, however, ephedrine is still being sold as part of herbal teas.0 -
