2 weeks ago i was 71 kgs...... today i am 73...... yesterday i tried on my jeans n they wont fit me...... i dunno wats wrong...... m exercising atleast 4 days a week (30DS)...... m eating okay...drinking water....wats going on......????

from past two weeks little by little i gained weight.... 4 days bk i was 72... n now today im 73kgs...this sucks!!!!!! :grumble:

  • I put on weight when I first started doing 30DS! I lost what I gained during the 2nd week :) Muscle weighs more then fat!

    It's not muscle................................it's water retention. When the body gets pummeled with new exercise, the muscles breakdown and have to rebuild (notice I didn't say build up). This process requires extra water and also the cells store glycogen in the anticipation that it will utilize the energy for exercise again. It usually lasts a couple of weeks and if you're consistent, should subside.

    yea dats wat i figured at first...but should i be able to feel a little loss in inches or feel that my body is toned up a little....dere is this jeans i wore 2 weeks bk...it was tight even then bt atleast i could button it...yesterday i couldnt even button it!!!!! :brokenheart: :sad:

    Quick look at your diary and i'd say sugar!
    Try to swap a few processed snacks for some fresh produce, I think it'll help

    I think it's your body adjusting to the workouts.....it will come off, keep going!

    Hi,

    You should only weigh yourself once a week on the same day and time if possible, your body naturally fluctuates and you always weigh less first thing in the morning.

    thnx everyone..... i jus would hv felt nicer if i had seen some inch loss..... weight gain wouldn't hv mattered then......
