Batchelors Super Noodles

I made a shocking discovery yesterday. Super Noodles are not 175 calories!! I repeat NOT 175 calories!
Other people have also been confused when it comes to the calorie content...
http://www.myfitnesspal.com/nutrition-facts-calories/batchelors-super-noodles
Even other sites say something similar...

http://www.livestrong.com/thedailyplate/nutrition-calories/food/batchelors/super-noodles-chicken-flavour
The information on the packet of Batchelor's Chicken Super Noodles shows;
Serving Size: 100 g, Calories: 175, Fat: 7.9g, Carbs: 22.8g, Protein: 3.1g
So this is where it gets a bit confusing...
The packet itself is 100g, but It also says the serving size of 1/2 packet.
So 1/2 pack? Well a packet is 100g, so half of that is 50g right? So if 100g is 175 cal then 1/2 packet must be half of that? right? WRONG!
Serving Size: 1/2 pack, Calories: 262, Fat: 11.8g, Carbs: 34.2g, Protein: 3.1g ?!?!!?
So that means 1 packet of Chicken Super Noodles is in fact...
524 calories!! (prepared)!
Serving Size: 1 pack, Calories: 524, Fat: 23.6g, Carbs: 68.4g, Protein: 6.2g
However, It dosen't bother me too much as I am still losing weight, but I thought I would let everyone know.
In the past I had been logging my noodles as this;

Which means my calorie intake in my food diary for the past is wrong.

I had exactly the same thing! Bought loads of packs thinking they weren't too bad then realised what the pack was actually saying. I can't stop eating them now though, I'm addicted!0

I discovered this also: It upset me very much. Super noodles are out the window.0

Yes I made the same mistake as well.
I used to eat 2 packs at once :noway: (its no surprise why I got this big :laugh: )
Pasta and sauce isn't too bad. Calories on the packet don't tell you how much prepared either though0 -
wow! i used to love super noodles. not had them in aaaaaaaaaaaaages, but used to have 2 packs as a meal...0

I made that mistake for sooo long. You wouldn't believe how pissed off I was when I finally worked out that it was wrong the whole time!! I don't eat them anymore, but I do love them, especially the chicken flavour.
I'm assuming now that the 100g serving is the weight after it is cooked.0 -
Hi, I think they made a mistake. I think the per 100g is right. I think the error is that they have to put per portion prepared in info. When prepared water is added increasing the total weight from 100g to 300g. Some packaging designer (not nutritional expert) has probably then been told a prepared portion is 150g so simply multiplied the data for dry 100g by 1.5, even though the extra weight is just water, a whole 66% water!0
