Hurt Neck-WWYD?

I evidently slept on my neck wrong, but then I aggravated it even worse while I was in the shower. I can barely move it to the left. I took 2 Aleve, but it did nothing to help. If you were me, what would you do? Would you go ahead and work out or not? I was planning on doing either Walk Away The Pounds or my strength training DVD...I use 3 lb. weights with both. I don't want to make it worse, but then I don't want to get off track with my exercise either.

For me personally: I wouldn't push it too much. Maybe some gentle stretching, like yoga, but I wouldn't go to town.

That's what I was thinking. I'm just hoping it feels better tomorrow. I hate missing my workout days :(

    Anyone else have any advice?

Roll up a towel and place it behind your neck when you're laying in bed tonight. It supports it nicely and helps your muscles to relax.

I wouldn't work out. I don't think I could work out. When my neck pain flares up, I am just miserable. Your neck plays a part in so many exercises. Better to rest than to aggravate it more.

    Hope you feel better FAST!

No, I'd ice it and take it easy and let it heal so that it doesn't become something more permanent.
