So, I have never taken supplements of any kind and I've even been on here saying that anyone eating a healthy diet shouldn't need them, but.....
I've been feeling really sleepy tired all the time, I go to bed at or around midnight and wake up at 9am and it never feels like it's enough. I was wondering if low iron levels might be to blame? I know not all the foods listed on MFP have these nutrients listed so the levels in my diary won't be anywhere near correct but would an iron supplement help, do you think? Any advice welcome.

  • Have your iron tested and be sure that is the problem.
  • I take an a-z vitamin. Has pretty much everything in it. So whatever it is your low on, I'm sure it'll be in one of those

Don't mess around with iron. You should go get tested first :)(

Not necessarily true. I get, on average, 90-110% of the RDA via diet daily, and yet have such low iron that I'm on round #2 of a two month long regimen of 70 mg per day (in addition to what I receive via diet plus my multivitamin that has 27 mg).

Get a simple blood panel done and discuss the results with your care provider if you've got concerns or suspicions.

Some people are prone to that, but you would have already known, check your personal post. I posted another thing to check... Simple fix.
