Erik the Viking with Tim Robbins by Terry Jones of Monty Python fame.

The Rutles. A precursor to Spinal Tap, but Beatles-ish instead of metal.

Oh yes! The first time I saw it was on TV and it was the dubbed version with all the swearing dubbed into other words. You stupid "Melon Farmers"!!! Made me laugh so hard as a teenager.
The other one I love that noone seems to have heard of is Amateur by Hal Hartley; funny, smart, tragic, great soundtrack. I had it on VHS, which has long since gone and can't get a copy for love nor money in the UK
Keep hoping it will be on TV so I can at least record it.0 -

Some of my faves:
Pollock - Ed Harris (one of the best and least recognized actors in the universe!) A bit of the life story of artist, Jackson Pollock
Glengarry Glen Ross - Al Pacino, Kevin Spacey (another under-rated actor), Ed Harris (I'll watch anything he's in
What Dreams May Come - Robin Williams, Annabella Sciorra. One of the best movies I've ever seen depicting heaven and hell in terms that truly make sense. A serious, wonderful role by Robin.0 -
