drop dead fred , its one of my favorite movies ever and hardly anyone i know has herd of it

Haha, that is one crazy movie, but I really liked it too.

    Love that one, too.

My husband says I remind him of the girl in the movie. Not Phoebe Cates as the little girl all grown up. Just the little girl.

I think a lot of hardcore horror lovers would know this, but not the average movie goer. It's a French horror called Martyrs. It's amazing.

it sure is, im not looking forward to the american remake tho lol

I am surprised some of these are being listed as not well know :( I have seen a bunch of these and love most. Especially props to Martyrs.
    I will add in Brainscan

    Eraserhead

ERASERHEAD!!!!! That movie was so beyond bizarre.

    Some of my faves are:

What About Bob? - Bill Murray

Defending Your Life - Albert Brooks & Meryl Streep

    1 from my childhood - We're Back!
Nobody ever remembers it and everyone looks at me like I'm crazy when I tell them what it was about lol

Master of Disguise! LOL. though I know why. it has like a 3% or something on rotten tomatoes...but *I* liked it!

I loved this movie! Announcing that was followed by an incredible amount of derision amongst my friends. My reply?...."Turtle, turtle"

    Return to Oz.

Dorothy goes back to Oz, and it's all beat up and run-down.

Kinda creepy to watch as a kid. But I always enjoyed it.

The orginial 1979 Rock 'n' Roll High School. The Ramones version.

Bad news for the Drop Dead Fred fans (of which I am one), Russell Brand is playing Fred in a Universal Studio's remake that is going to be made more in a Beetlejuice type dark style.

    *Waking Ned Devine

LOVE this one...we have it on DVD and pull it out to watch from time to time.

Also like The Secret of Roan Inish (good wholesome family type movie with great Irish culture mixed in :-)

Definitely going to look into watching some of these!

Another absolute favorite, Empire of the Sun. It is an incredible film, starring Christian Bale, who at that time was only 12 years old when cast.

For those who are fans of The Mentalist and The Guardian, Simon Baker is in a movie "Something New"...another great movie.

Quite true, he's not Rik Mayall, but he's close enough. I liked Rik as Lord Flashheart in Blackadder better though.
