Welcome. I'm on the same roller coaster. Tired of it...(exhausting isn't it?) I know pictures motivate me big time. Take a full body pic of yourself in a bathing suit, and look online to sites where you can download that pic and 'photoshop' it to the shape you want to be in. Or, just put that pic you took and stick it on your fridge. Make a vision board for next summer. Perhaps of places you'd like to go (beach, waterparks, clothes you'd like to wear, etc). Also, PLAN and PREPARE your nutrition. If I wait till I'm starving, it's cookie monster time, lol. Don't deprive yourself if you want something, just don't have a big portion of it. And don't forget your water. Wishing you success, you can do this!!!! :flowerforyou:0

Start slowly!
Begin with logging EVERYTHING you eat. When you see what you're putting into your body all written out in front of you, you'll WANT to change what you're eating.
Then start making changes to the foods you're eating.
I like to come on MFP during my lunch break and read blogs/posts, it helps keep me motivated throughout the day.
Good luck on your journey, there's a lot of support here and I'm sure you'll do great!0 -
Hello! I have lost 80lb gained 30lbs and now have lost 22lbs. My thoughts go to heath and fitness, i want to be that fit person i always wished i was. and i am getting there. I love to see my body transform and see my strength increase, these things keep me going. Plus once you get started you wont want to go back to the person you started out as. it only gets better.0

Make your goals visible- keep pictures of your ideal body in plain sight. Think about your motivators, your health and your family. They are much more important than having that extra cupcake- remind yourself of that. Think about why you want this so bad. Most importantly, don't expect instant results. It took a long time to put the weight on, and it will take a lot of time and work to get it off. Stick with it, post on boards for support, and feel free to add me and message me for support, motivation, to vent, etc. You can do this- you just have to put your whole self into it. Your body will thank you!0

My Advice Just do something lol..start small like if you drink soda or juices all day have mayb allow yourself one mini can a day and drink water ... eat alittle less.. Drink whole milk try 1%.. mini goals are key if you try to strip yourself completely from old bad habits you wont stick to it long..
i personally stopped with soda and juices..i only drank water and i was losing..then stopped with the fast food lost more..then exercised for 3 days a week NOW i still only drink water and fat free milk..i work out 6 days a week and stretch/yoga on my 7th day and i eat alot of lean meats and veggies. and i its not a hassle. One change leads to another. Now my body doesnt crave "the bad stuff". i treat myself here and there
GOOD LUCK0
