Calories burned in weight lifting

Doing MyFitnessPal has made me wonder how many calories I burn when lifting weights. I haven't found a solid answer.
Earlier today, I discovered an article that claimed weight lifting can burn the equivalent of running a six-minute mile, which is running at a rate of 10 MPH. An online calculator I found estimated that at my height, weight, and age, I could burn around 650 calories by running at a rate of 10 MPH for one hour.
Does anyone have a sound idea of how many calories weight lifting burns? I keep my rest period to no more than 90 seconds between sets, even for heavy lifts. I also do quite a bit of super setting and focus more on compound moves (as opposed to isolation moves). Overall, I feel like a get a fairly solid burn from my workouts.

350-450 calories is about average for an hour session if you train intensely.0

I track my weight training sessions with my HRM, I've logged as much as 750 in an hour once. But I don't weight train like most people.0

I track with a hrm, and burn equal to a cardio class. My pauses between setts are max 60 s. I lift rather light- medium in load 3 sets 15 reps. This is usually shoulder physical therapy and back.
In abs class, I burn 100 cal for 15 min. I noticed, my hr goes way up lifting .
I usually don't lift loads with my legs, but since the quadriceps is the biggest muscle, I can think you need a bunch of oxygen if you involve it while lifting, which leads to hr going up and in turn a cardio like burn.0 -
I've read that HRMs are NOT accurate during strength training.
I generally just put in 200 calories for an 25-30 minute lifting session. I got that off some website somewhere...0
