This is one of my toughest semesters so far. I just finished up midterms - getting to the nitty-gritty, though. Gotta start writing papers. The snowbirds are here and work is getting crazy. Getting more hours at work but I'm still struggling with finances. life is crazy - but I feel good today. On august 2nd of this year, I had a sort of breakthrough. I had my last soda that day.I made some serious diet changes (kicked all junk food, started watching calories). On september 2nd, I joined the gym. I've went 3-4 times a week since then.

In the past, I've told myself I was ready to lose the weight, but my insecurities got the best of me. I'd convince myself I was comfortable (despite experiencing depression and anxiety, which I also convinced myself was an unrelated issue), or that it would just take too long to lose the weight.

Not this time. Since September 2, I've lost 15 lbs and 12 inches. I have so much more energy. I'm sleeping better. My heartburn is nearly non-existent. My anxiety seems to be a little more bearable.. and I'm feeling some bit of confidence that I definitely didn't have before. It's in my sight, this time.

I'm thrilled to have found this website. I've found so much inspiration and support, and I'm thankful for that.

You guys rock. :)

    awesome job girl! if you can do it under that kind of stress you know you can do it ever day, forever. Keep it up
