been on it for 5 years due to ovarian cysts. Never gained a pound unless I was eating junk food all the time!

    awesome!

    also.

I think its funny that people are so squeamish about this subject.

    BLOOD!

    Squeemish? No.
I just think its re-freaking-diculous that we have to muliple threads on what has been a fact of life for most of us women....for atleast 10 years.

I just wanted to start an argument :)

I was on the depo for 3 years and gained about 30 lbs but that was because my drinking increased and my activity decreased.. When I started working out and being healthier, the weight came off.. So as much as I blamed the depo for weight gain, it wasn't completely it's fault.

Sorry you are dealing with it, they say excercise helps the cramps.

It's tougher for some than others. Not everyone has simple cycles.

I suspect that, but I was being sarcastic. You should have seen my rant a few months ago about this.

    You have TOM.

    You also have multiple orgasms.

Sounds like a fair trade to me. :)

i have really bad TOM and the only time i have ever been able to function during the first 3 days when i was on YAZ. TOM still came but the pain that went along with it was WAY more manageable! Sadly i lost my health insurance but thats the first thing i am getting back on once i get it back.
Try Junel instead. I was on Yaz and loved it and Junel is super close to Yaz and a lot more affordable too.

Plus my cousin developed blood clots due to Yaz and literally dropped dead during a walk with her fiance 4 yrs. ago. She was a college athlete, never drank, smoked even contemplated if the caffiene from chocolate was to much to put into her body in other words she was in amazing health. Yaz is proven to cause blood clots 3 times more than other BC pill options.

If anyone has truly bad pain during menstruation, they should get checked out for endometriosis. Honestly, there shouldn't be bad cramps.
