I was wondering if there is anyone out there that could help me compose a food guideline for my weightloss.
I would like a strict one that is SPELT out so I can never say well I didn't know blah blah if you understand what I am
saying. I just want to make the best choices possible and it would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you in advance xo.
Add me if you'd like a new friend =D

avoid take-out. if you cave in (not saying it is okay too) avoid the sides like fries and soda.
make most of your diet consist of wholegrains. fruit and veg. and unprocessed meat. (so avoid sausages, burgers, stuff like that)
make healthy alternatives.
sweets: dark chocolate 70% cocoa or more. low sugar yogurt (low fat is lower cal and easier to fit into fat goals). homemade healthy oatmeal cookies (recipe is as a status on my profile). fruit.
avoid white carbs, white bread, pasta rice. even multigrain bread is bad as it has 'wheat flour' in it. get wholemeal or wholegrain bread that has 'wholemeal wheat flour' in the ingredients.
im too lazy to put more, but add me if you want more advice0 -
Dont be afraid to try new foods - you may find yourself enjoying a new food that could benefit your weight loss efforts.
Avoid prepackaged, preprocessed foods, frozen meals.... Do your best to cook from scratch using only fresh ingredients....
Frozen vegetables without any added sodium or preservatives are a great money saver when fresh produce is too expensive (as we head into winter for most of the country)0 -
Stuff I always eat:
Canned tuna or salmon.
Boneless, skinless chicken breasts.
Egg whites.
Sweet potatoes.
Corn tortillas.
Salad - spinach, romaine, tomato, onion with lunch meat or turkey pepperoni.
Wheat bread.
Grape tomatoes.
Apples.
Rice cakes.
I do eat a lot of 'low fat' or 'non fat options' or '100 calorie' whatever. A lot of people look down on it because of chemicals, but once I get a better grasps on what I need to eat to stay healthy, I will take whatever help I can get which I guess is a pretty ~distorted way of looking at it.
Anytime I have pasta or rice with a meal, I cut the serving in half.0 -

If you want a food guideline, go ask a nutritionist. I for one am not going to suggest anything, as I know nothing about you, and nothing about your health, medical conditions, allergies, etc. and really, nobody but your doctor would be qualified to give you a list.
Besides, my food list consists of anything I feel like eating. I'm in this for life, and I don't plan on eliminating things I like to eat for no real reason. Especially when I look at my grandparents, both extremely healthy, both in their nineties, and both regularly eat and drink everything that so many "dieters" here swear will kill you andyour health if you eat it.
Honestly, unless you have a very specific medical reason for not eating a specific food, anybody who tells you to cut anything out of your diet is generally clueless.0
