after having my baby... i had terrible stretch marks all over my belly. and though is lighter but yet is still dark brown in colour and very visible. no matter how much lotion and stretch marks oil ive tried putting on ( i practically can fry myself ) before and after pregnancy, is not much use.
sad.... i wonder is there anyway i can salvage the situation ... i so want to get into a bikini. but now even if i have the body i won dare to walk out with it ....HElP

I'm not sure if you have tried bio-oil its very good, I have stretch marks too and it has helped reduce them. Apart from that your lookjing at surgery, lasers at first though they aren't always successful and then after that there are various cosmetic surgeries you can do to reduce them I did look into them but you are talking thousands of pounds (or dollars wherever you are). There are a few that are really meant to help but off the top of my head I cant remember the name of them. Its something I'm saving up for once I have children hope this is of some help. If your in the UK you can get laser treatment on the NHS I got it for me but it didnt help in my case.0

They'll fade out eventually. I'm afraid there is no solution to remove them completely (no miracle cream) except surgery.0

Hey Ellefun, this is blackchic35 i also have that problem and found no solution but to buy a one pieces, i spoke with a doctor and they suggested a tummy tuck. Now i dont know how bad you want to be in a bikini but i didnt want it that bad. Hey girl look, get the body you desire and it really is not gonna matter what swim suit your in cause your gonna look great in any one. they also have wrap skrits to if ya still want to rock a 2 piece. Alright dont get discourage reach your goal cause your still sexy and you know it .WORKING OUT GIRLS ROCK SO KEEP ROCKING!0

None of us are perfect... we all have things about ourselves that we'd love to change! I say stop hating your 'imperfections' and wear the bikini anyway. Is anyone really going to point at you and go 'wow, stretchmarks!' No. I have loads of stretchmarks everywhere and I know there's nothing I can do about them. So i'm just going to live my life with them and wear the damn bikini anyway (when I reach my goal)0

im right there with you. even at my biggest, 230 (befor prego) i never had streach marks. got down to 204, then got pregnant. at a huge 260, i thought about getting hell tattooed on my stomach, that way the streach marks would look like fire in an effort to hide them. didnt do that lol. my baby is 15 months now, and i am back in the 2 hundrend teens area, and they are fading. not as much or as fast as i want, but i've been asking how to make them dissapear. i've had comments about cinnimon oil to olive oil. all kinds of lotions, but sadly, they havent worked. i am going to try that bio oil. so far everyone that has answered me the majority have used and seen results with bio oil0

I'm not sure about the supplements, oils and lotions, but they will fade with time. They likely won't tan like the rest of your skin though, so if you one day wear that bikini, be aware of that.0

im using cocoa butter and also bio oil. but nothing is working. i guess i have to live with it. Hopefully when i have a hot body then no body will notice my tiger looking stripes on my body. Perhaps i should get a Tiger print Bikini. maybe that will camouflage the stretch marks LOL
Anyway thanks for all the suggestions !0 -

Good plan on the tiger print! I have them too and hate them, but I have realised that most women and some men have them. Trying bio oil but don't know if that will actually do anything!0 -
If it is really giving your self esteem a run for its money, I'd recommend saving up for laser removal. Yes, cosmetic procedures are expensive but if they give you comfort in your body, they are worth it.0
