Is anyone doing Tom Venuto's Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle exercise recommendations for fat loss? I am starting out Monday using the principles for workouts in his e-book and would love to connect with others on here who might be using it as well.
I've already been using his nutrition advice and have seen some improvements. The past month I have been doing weight training only (I needed a break from cardio) and have gained a lot of strength. (Barbell squats are my new best friend, lol). Now I am moving farther into the program doing it as laid out since I feel I have a good foundation with cardio and weight training.
Starting Monday I will be doing 5 days a week of cardio and 3 days a week of weights using a 2-day split so every other week I do 1 workout twice and the other just once which alternates from week to week. One day I will do just weights, one day just cardio...so there's one whole day each week of nothing but rest.
Anyway, add me if you are cutting fat using BFFM!
