It's time for me to get a new pair of shoes. I want to get a good pair. I have some issues with my feet and the lack of a good pair of shoes has caused the problem. I have high arches, plantar's fasciitis, arthritis in my knees, and I have nerve damage in my toes from wearing shoes too tight. Can anybody suggest a good brand of shoes to buy? I really hate buying a pair thinking that it is a good shoe and then be disappointed.

Do you have a runner's store near you, such as Fleet Feet? Those kind of stores take the time to assess your foot and your needs and will find you the perfect shoe (assuming you want an athletic shoe).

No. Never heard of it. Do they have a website?

This should have been a quote of the Fleet Feet comment, but that failed. So yea, running stores. They really help.

Runner's world has a Store Finder on their website, if you live in the US.
