30 day shred???

New to this site, Hello all. Does anyone know the average calories that you burn on level 1 of the 30 day shred and possibly the other levels? Just wondering how much I should log, also how do you put the ticker in your posts?? Also in 6 days I have already lost 3 lbs woo hooo!!!

    most ppl log it as circuit training. Calories burned depends on your current weight & fitness level. The average is around 200-250 I'd say. I've read several articles, a High Calorie burn is NOT easy & takes INTENSE exercise- high impact. In fact, that's why I'm getting a bicycle. Even at that, you have to cycle at high intensity uphill to burn more than a moderate amount of calories.
    I believe running burns the most - that's why so many on here are runners

    Yup, circuit training so I only burn 140ish which is the same as 12-15 min on the elliptical.

    The best way to tell is to use a heart rate monitor while you're doing the 30 DS. I just started it myself, but since I don't have a HRM I've been logging it under cardio as "strength training". It's probably underestimating the calories you'rre actually burning though. For the ticker, go under the "Tools" setting at the top of the page and there's an option to create one. Then you just copy the link into your signature under the message boards. And great job on the three pounds!

    Thanks everybody!! Haha I wish I could be a runner but I have CP and it effects my walking/running and joints therefore I have to find short and creative ways to burn it off lol, so far it is this and Zumba (Zumba hurts but it is so fun that i ignore the pain lol)....anyone else hear of shorter exercises like this that I can try??
