Regarding Sports Active 1 and 2

Does anyone know if the controls from Sports Active 2 work with the workout from Active 1 and the extra workouts?
I bought 2 and want to get the Extra Workouts but, don't want to purchase Active 1 and have a seperate set of arm/leg bands.
