sexually explicit concerning pics?

This is a fine line! I see pictures of girls on here showing off their new improved bodies that they have worked their *kitten* off for in bikinis and lingerie and I applaud them..

So what is considered too much? I just want to know so I can abide by the rules ....

Seeing a lot of flack today towards the ladies and their pics for being "inappropriate". They say this is a PG13 site but yet innocent pics are being pulled down and people threatened with being banned. But correct me if I am wrong but wasn't the movie "Titanic" PG13 and we had boobs and sex in that movie. So what gives? Unless the pic was published by the Children's Television Workshop, its not ok?

maybe there should be an option to only show pics to people who are "friended" on here... similar to the restrictions that you can opt for on facebook. i mean, if its going to become that much of an issue, then why not? just a thought...

According to the movie rating system, PG-13 can show nudity, just not overtly sexual in nature. I.E. someone changing clothes, etc but not 2 people locked in a romantic embrace, nude.
So my main problem with it is this....why are different people being judged differently on similar pics? If you're going to have rules, they should be applied to everyone THE SAME WAY. Quit picking certain people out, just because they've pushed the limits before. That's a major case of BS, in my opinion.

The only pic I've ever found over the top was a girl with a penis sucker in her mouth. To each their own, I guess, but I'd have died if my boss walked in on me at work and her picture was on the screen. Then again, his seeing my "notworking" on MFP might get me in trouble all on its own... otoh, that pic might have been enough of a distraction that he'd forget he was mad at me. It's such a conundrum. Sorry, this post has made no attempt to answer the OPs question.

I don't know why people get all upset about this. Who cares!! You see the same or worse on facebook. And here it has a purpose..if you've lost a bunch of weight and want to show that off--more power to you!!

I don't know the rules or what pics were taking down. But I agree with removing sexually explicit pics. This is a fitness site, not a porn site. If people can't see your weight loss without disrobing then what good is it? Are you going to walk around naked for the rest of your life so people can tell you've lost weight?

That's just it, the pics being removed are NOT sexually explicit...not by anyone's standards. You can see more skin on a Disney movie than are in some of the pictures being removed. If someone doesn't like the pics that some people have up, then simple solution DON'T LOOK. Quit being a whiny tattle tale and stay out of people's pictures. Supposedly, everyone on this site is over 18...least that's the rules. Quit acting like children and complaining about other people's pics.....or removing people's pics from their profiles.

Um, I don't know if that was directed at me, but since you chose to quote me I'll have to assume it was. I haven't complained about any pics. In fact, I can't even see any pics as I'm at work any they block photobucket.

BUT, whoever did report it has just as much right to do so as you have to complain about them doing so.
