Modified exercise program help

Having lupus comes with serious joint pain throughout my body-- from my ankles, knees, hips, spine, shoulders, and elbows, to my wrists and hands. My doctor has told me that I can walk, swim, or do very light stretching exercise like maybe pilates or yoga. I have been walking, but now that it's winter I'd like to get a DVD to do inside (the cold makes my joint pain worse). I know some of you guys have limited mobility as well and I was wondering if someone could recommend a low-key exercise program for me to get started. I used to be very good at pilates but then my joints got a lot worse and I had to stop. Now that I've been walking I think I can do it again but I want to start slow. I'm open to anything low-impact that allows for modifications. Any thoughts or programs you've tried? (I have a stationary bike but I can't use it or any other machine right now-- I'm staying in the guest room at my parents until my husband is stationed and they don't want an exercise machine in the house) Thanks!

I know you're looking more for a DVD or something like that but have you considered trying an elliptical machine?0

Have you tried water aerobic classes? I take those several times a week and I see many people do what they can do,,, It is very easy on your joints. If you don't belong to a gym, many public pools offer it.0
