Personal Motivators- What are yours?

I have found that I can keep myself motivated by giving myself deals. For instance, I am a big coffee drinker and have been trying to cut back and drink more water. I have made a deal with my self that I cannot have a cup of coffee unless I drink 20 oz of water first. It works well for me and has both brought up my water intake, and cut back on my coffee intake.
Anyone else have little "deals" with themselves?

I used to make deals with myself on the weekends - and am thinking this will become practice again now that winter's coming. Boredom is a huge trigger for me so say it's a cold snowy day (so I don't want to go anywhere) and I'm supposed to be cleaning the house but I'd rather be vegging in front of the TV with some snacks. So I make a deal with myself that if I can get workout in and get the chores done by say 11am then I can have that leftover pizza for lunch or get some dark chocolate when I go grocery shopping later...whatever tickles my fancy that particular day.0

I am trying to save for a new road bike because I do triathlons. So I pay myself $5 a day to track because I hate tracking. It works out on both ends. I am tracking and I am saving at the same time0

I like this Idea. I would have to do it for exercise, but I am saving for a downpayment for a new car. Maybe that would work!0 -
I have a few that I do and one that I've thought about. .
I want to pose pin up style on my boyfriends '66 nova once I lose the weight (nobody tell him, it's gonna be a gift). I've always wanted to do it but I want to be comfortable in my skin first. I have pictures from the photographer I want to use posted all over the place. One next to my alarm clock so I see it first thing in the morning. One on the fridge, one my full length mirror in the my room, and one on the bathroom mirror next to current picture of me in my underwear. Quite the difference.
I also read somewhere that you should write down your goal weight and post it in places also. I have the #7 (the pants size I want) in my cupboards and my front door. I like the pants size better than the weight. I'm more for looking/being healthy then the amount I weigh.
I've told myself I was going to pay myself $20 for every pound I lost so I could go shopping when I get to my goal, but that isn't working out to well. I don't even pay myself $5. Which I think I should do at least something. I'd have $25 by now.... hmmmm
I love the idea of this post. I need as many self motivator ideas as I can find.0
