do you do the dishes right away after each meal or do you let them pile up in the sink before doing them?

we pile until one side of the sink is full and then it is time to load them in the dishwasher.

    i wash mine once a day or once every other day. if i'm cooking, i wash as a i go.

    I'm kind of in between. I don't let them pile up but if it's just me at the house while Joe is at work and the kids are at school then my few little dishes can wait.

    I wish I did them right away. I rinse them off after dinner but let them pile up until I need to load them in the dishwasher. I'm not cleanly. :grumble:

    All depends on the day. If we are super busy, the sink may get almost full, but I don't let it get too bad. Otherwise, I keep them washed even if it's just a few. Especially if I'm cooking, I like to wash as I go so there won't be as many.

    I have the kids pile them so my wife can wash them... at her earliest possible convenience of course....

    I have a dishwasher, but I wash alot of the dishes by hand. Right away for me!I love a clean home!

    i currently have a recycle gal. our recycle bin is way out in back and you totally have to go out and around and then aroujnd again...i cna't be doing that. i pile up the recycles and at the end of the day put em in a bag and say recycle gal...come hither ;)

    My husband does them at night while I am fixing lunches before bed. So they sit a few hours after dinner. Rarely do they sit overnight. He is good for something, sometimes.
