  • I'm not ashamed to admit I've been battling Eating Disorders since age 13 (30 years)...

    I have battled (and beat):

Bulimia, Anorexia, Laxative Abuse, Binge Exercising

    I still battle:

Binge Eating, NS-RED (Nocturnal Sleep-Related Eating Disorder), Food Addiction

This site has helped me SO MUCH! I'm still a Food Addict, but my Binge Eating has lessened and I haven't eating while sleep-walking in a month that I know of!

    Have a great night!
  • I still struggle with bulimia... got past the anorexia. I like food.. and for some reason I still have urges to eat EVERYTHING and then I regret it..

I started with a food/body obsession when I was 13 - I can still remember the comment that triggered me stopping to eat normally.

Its a matter of changing the pattern and changing how the mind is triggered I think. I try not to look in the mirror and I don't wear clothes that I know will make me feel fat - which at the moment is the tighness of my jeans and the main reason for trying to diet and exercise in a reasonable manner this time!

OH MY GOSH! I was 13 and still remember the comment my dance teacher made that started my bulimia/anorexia... Besides being a dancer, I was also a cheerleader and she told me I needed to quit cheerleading because my thighs were getting way too big!!!
