Hi all
I had my second weight, measure and maltron test done today at the gym. The first one was done exactly 4 weeks ago and I am pleased to say that I have lost in measurements! I was so not looking forward to the results, thinking they wouldn't be that good. I know some others could probably do better but a lose is a lose!!
I only lost 1.1kg / 2.4 pounds BUT...
I lost...
Waist : 4.2 cm / 1.7 inch
Hips/butt : 2.1 cm / .8 inch
Thigh : went down but didn't write it on my scrap paper for me to log here! I think it went down by 2 cm.
Chest : 2.6cm / 1 inch
Calf : 4.4 cm / 1.7 inch
Now, we are not sure if the first maltron test was correct but it showed me as having 42.8% body fat. :noway:
My trainer was sceptical because that would mean nearly 40 kilos of fat on me. He thought maybe 31 - 33% was more on the money. Anyway, today it showed a more realistic 27.7% body fat. Woo Hoo. I am happy with that.
I have obviously put on muscle, which is now 72.3%. Unfort we didn't write down (on my scrap paper for me) what my % was before, so I can't tell you the exact comparison but I know by memory it measured around the 50% mark.
I am so thrilled with these results, even though it was a low weight loss. So thrilled in fact that I will change my ticker to show my targeted fat loss % instead of weight. If I am going to do weights (and heavy ones), then it will be a slow slow trip down in the weight. I would rather see my fat % get to a healthy range, so I am setting my goal at 20%.
Can't wait for the next 4 weeks!!
