Great job :) I'm lucky to get 20 min of running in without quitting, so I understand what a big deal this is. Keep it up.

  • Wow, well done! I'm on week 4 of C25K and I still can't believe I'll be able to run 25 mins straight. That's a great achievement!

That's great and just to let you know that my theory that I have used in myself was if I could run 1 mile I could run 2 miles so in reality you could run for an hour when your ready. Just a thought for you to know! Get that high! It's cheap and legal!

Awesome. Take a rest day tomorrow and day after you will be able to run just as much again.

I could've probably stretch it out for longer, but I was happy with that milestone :)

    well done :)

can I suggest a bath? The first week I ran for 20 mins straight in C25K I could barely walk the next day because my leg muscles tightened up and my back hurt every time I tried to move!

    Wonderful job and fantastic pace!

@Faraya: I was you in August and last weekend I completed my first 5k. Try c25k or any of the progressive run/walk systems...they really do work.

I had a shower and have rubbed deep heat in. Hopefully that helps. I stand 100% of the time at work, so tomorrow will be interesting.

I do it on both treadmill and outside, but mostly treadmill.
I'll be happy to share the plan with you. I just turned off my computer (gotta love an iPhone) and am going to bed in a minute, so I'll do it tomorrow morning.
