Just wondering if I have ALL day to workout and I have a few workouts to do should I do them all together (one after the other) or seperate within the day?
I guess it would be what would burn more cals.
I do Ripped in 30, Jog, Stairs and Billy Blanks 8 min. workout.
Also if its not raining I walk my 2 dogs.

in the end it doesnt make much difference - just remember in reality you wont exercise like this all the time once you start maintainiing. but you may burn slightly more doing all the workouts in one day if you kept your heartrate up.0

There are 2 basic reasons to exercise: create a calorie deficit for weight loss and to improve your fitness level.
So long as you are doing "good" work when you do work out, it doesn't really matter when or for what length of time you burn calories/train your body so long as each and every time you do it, you really go for broke. Make sure you're optimizing the time and really getting your heart rate up and/or really stressing your muscles. You have to stres your body to make it change.
If you burn 200 calories in the a.m. and 200 in the p.m. that's the same as burning 400 calories in the p.m., isn't it? Yep.0 -
Yes, i really have all day to workout, i work seasonal and my job is from April - August. I started my weight loss January and worked out until i started work because I really have NO time when im working to exercise, however the job i do requires upper body strenght and im non stop. But now that im not working i dont want to be sat on the couch watchin tv all day but somehow i feel i dont do enough exercise, but maybe its because i have ALL day.0

If that were me, I would break it up into 2 sessions... The rest of the day just be active, play with your dogs, etc... Enjoy your day!0

Personally, I like doing a variety of mini work outs. I love doing the shred or ripped first thing before work. It motivates me for the rest of the day and IF I don't find time to fit in another its ok cus I did a work out. I like to run as well and often like to do it after work to clear my head from the work day. Its just me and the open road. In the end, it all comes down to the same with calories burnt so I would say, do what you like to do. One advantage is that you would most likely work out harder breaking each of them up rather than all together.0

I don't know about calories, but several recent studies have shown that you get more health benefits from workouts spread throughout the day than by one big workout, especially if you are mostly sedentary when not working out.
I also think that at some point your body probably needs to recover and refuel to get an optimal workout.0
