I walked into the office this morning at work and began talking with the secretary about nutrition, exercise, etc. She told me that I have been inspiring people at my work to be healthy. I (with a puzzled look on my face) questioned her with, "Me??" She said, "Yes, you, your weight loss, your healthy eating choices, your exercise. Everyone wants to get healthier because of what you started." Our conversation continued for a half hour on healthy food choices, etc.
As I sit at my desk and reflect on what she said I am still amazed. I'm happily amazed that I could make such a difference!! It's just what I needed to hear! I am so thankful for our conversation...

this is awesome. I have had several people tell me that I either inspire or motivate them to do something about their health. When I hear those things, it adds motivation for me to continue doing well as I feel accountable to those other people to continue to be an example of what can be done with some lifestyle changes. I feel that if I stop my journey, others could then say "well, if Hunter couldn't do it then I can't". I refuse to be someone else's excuse for "can't".

As I put out there for my MFP pals at times...do something today to inspire others.

Yeah - my office mate told me the other day that I am her weight loss inspiration. She said if I could do it, then she knows she can do it too! I thought that was awesome!

yes, people telling you that you have inspired them makes you feel a fantasic amount of accountability to them in a good way....when others are looking up to you, so to speak, you are apt to stay on track because you don't want to let them down, then then you keep moving on and progressing yourself! love that!!!
