Question: So I am allowed 1380 cals a day. I burned 560. I get an extra 560. Doesnt tht kind of defeat the purpose of calorie restriction?? HELP. Kinda lost at this.

You lose weight by your calorie restriction alone not from exercise. You don't have to exercise at all if you don't want. Exercise is for you health and to build/maintain muscle tissue.

The 1380 is already a significant caloric deficit. So if you burned 560, only 800 calories would be available to nourish your body - definitely NOT enough for healthy, normal body function. You need to eat your exercise calories in order to maintain a MINIMUM caloric need for your body, or you will become lethargic, cranky and your weight loss will be very slow.
