I have been on my weight loss journey for 3 years now. The first year I lost 20 lbs and the second year I gained it back. So I am back to square one. I don’t know why I keep holding myself back. It’s like I want to fail because failing feels like I’m winning. I would appreciate any motivation and support from those of you who have discovered how to stop beating yourself up like I do. Thanks

Welcome to MFP. I think a lot of us beat ourselves up over weight gain amongst other things. Finding something that helps motivate you to stay or get healthy has been a key for me. Also finding that physical activity that you love to do makes it easier. I love to hike , something I forgot for many years, and living in beautiful north Idaho I have more than enough opportunities to get out there and enjoy a new trail or a new mountain on any given day. I just have to force myself to work in the other excersises that I don't love to keep my wieght loss going. Good luck on the goal:)
