Fitness DVDs that come with "slim down diet plan"

I have never gotten a fitness DVD but I have often considered it, a lot of the infomertials talk about slim down diets coming with the DVDs (I think hip-hop abs has one and brazilian butt lift has one) Sometimes the ads say the whole DVD set is "Not sold in stores" and sometimes they say don't say weather or not the DVD is sold in stores but says that you can't get *so and so's* slim down diet plan unless you "buy now".... and it has a timer at the bottom of the screen, yada yada we know the drill.
I was just wondering if anyone has ever gotten one of the DVD sets that includes a "Slim down diet plan" and if the slim down diet plans actually help?

I got a few recipes from the Recipe Booklets but I don't follow them verbatum. There are only 2 weeks worth of foods outlined in the guides.
And more than likely you can Google 'XXXX Nutrition Guide' for a preview or the whole guide.0 -
I received a slim down plan with both my windsor pilates dvds and my hip hop abs and my yoga booty ballet. I looked thru them but never actually ended up following the plan because I would have to drop another 200 dollars on food to eat specifically what they wanted me to. I did see results with the work outs themselves though. And I did try to watch what I ate and focus on good health while was I doing the dvds.0

Yes, I have and they do work. I am actually a fan of the one that comes with the Brazil Butt Lift because I find it simple to follow and to have the right balance.0

Ohh cool beans, really good to know. Simple is awesome!! I think if its got simple stuff I am much more likely to fallow it.. If I pick a recipe up and its full of long involved steps I doubt I would fallow through.0 -
The Zumba sets come with a diet plan that guarantees (money back) that if you follow the diet and the exercise plan you will lose one dress size in 10 days. Obviously it won't work for everyone because some people are already fit and don't need to lose a dress size. But if you were overweight and out of shape I don't doubt that you would.
The catch is that the diet plan is very specific. It is healthy but the meals are planned with no options. The snacks list options but not the meals so I doubt there are many people that actually follow it to the letter for 10 days. But I also doubt there are many people that return the DVDs asking for a refund, which I'm sure is what they are counting on.0
