How do you deal with your better half when they're not wanting you to lose the weight? Or are not supporting you but doing everything they can to discourage you?

If they were really your better half... they would be supporting everything you do! However, some people are insecure with themselves and think that if you lose weight you might stray from home (*although, there aren't many who lose weight so they can leave the person they are with*). Let them know how you feel, if they still continue to be non-supportive its time you try ignoring their negative attitude. If that doesn't work you might want to look at putting some space between the 2 of you until they come to grips with you wanting to be healthier. And unfortunately if that doesn't work... I'm sure we all know what the next logical step is. I"m sorry that you aren't receiving the support at home that you need, this journey you are on definitely requires tons of it!
Feel free to add me I'll try being some online support for you0 -
Why is he/she not being supportive?0

As hard as it is...... block out the bullsh*t and do this for yourself! If he/she loves you, they'll support you! If not, then you really need to have a long talk and reevaluate the situation. Good luck!0
