I joined this site about a month ago but haven't really done anything with it yet. I've decided today, however, is the day I quit procrastinating and get my act together. My boyfriend and I have slowly been working to improve our health and get back into shape. We want to get back to our old lifestyle of eating right and exercising - we sort of fell off the wagon for a while after we graduated college. We were both athletes so we were (required to be) healthy and fit in college but it's a whole different ballgame when you’re on your own. You’re responsible for making time to exercise and motivating yourself because you don't have a coach yelling at you to run faster! I know from training in the offseason that when I would run and lift with my teammates it was so much more enjoyable and made it a heck of a lot easier to get through some of those grueling workouts so I want to expand my (our) support system, besides just each other. While I’m not really looking to lose weight, I really want to be there to help my BF lose the rest of his 100-125lb weight loss goal. He was an offensive lineman and wants to lose the weight to make it easier on his joints and back and I want to be there for him to help motivate and support him while also getting myself back into shape. Please feel free to friend me (I'm still trying to convince my boyfriend he should join)!
