A question for anyone who does their own pickling.
Hi guys!!! My grandma taught me how to pickle with a water bath canner. It turns out tastey, but for some reason my greenbeans and asparagus turn out wrinkly. It looks like how your fingers look after soaking in the tub for too long. Just wrinkly, it tastes great, but im wondering if anyone knows why they dont turn out LOOKING as perfect as they taste?

Are you packing them as thightly as you can in the jar? If you don't, you run the risk of overcooking them during the processing time.0

I have been trying to pack them tightly, but im still a beginner. Maybe that could be the issue.0
