I have been on my weight loss journey since Jan 2011. I did SOOOO GOOOOD the 1st 6 months and now it seems like my Motivation has gone on vacation. I have to literally force myself to go to the gym, I hurt my back then got Dr. orders to stay away from working out for 6 weeks... Needless to say I put back on a pound or two... Okay! 7! I need to get my Motivation back. Any suggestions on how to shock my body into wanting to loose weight again?? I'm STUCK!!!!!!!!!! I hate this feeling. I DON'T EVER want to go back to where I was a year ago. ANY SUGGESTIONS WELCOME! NEW FRIENDS WELCOME I need all the Motivation I can get. Any new MFP in SOCAL??????

Start slow. Your doctor said stay away from working out. You can still try to be as active as possible throughout the day. Take a nice brisk walk every evening or something. Being as active as you can will help you become healthier. You don't need a gym for that.0

Know how you feel. It's feels like we're in some kind of a trance, have a huge feeling of entitlement and revert back to our old ways of eating. Nothing and no one is going to stop us and I MEAN NOTHING!!!!!! I'm sure most of us have been in your shoes. Have you heard of 2x4 dogs (this is a joke, I'm an animal lover) however, at times some of us become 2x4 people. You KNOW what you NEED to do so give up the fight, just give in and DO IT. Email me anytime if you need help.0

I had to find a new goal. My sister suggested I needed to get back to working out so my children wouldn't be the brunt of yo momma so fat jokes. She has a sense of humor all her own. For me I felt so much better after a workout, and my body felt better all the time just in general. I want that feeling back so that's what I'm trying to focus on. I wish I knew exactly what to say but reason for motivation is personal.0

You've got this my friend! You look amazing! I don't even recognize the before you - have you looked in the mirror lately? So, what you put some weight back on after hurting your back for 6 weeks. You're an inspiration and when I see your pictures you are glowing. Keep that woman around because she is beautiful and the person her family and self deserves. I will always be here for you and I would love for you to lose those 7 plus 1 more and than text me with a happy incredible photo trying on clothes and loving it again. I'm back and WE GOT THIS! x/o0
