To REALLY save on calories, blot the grease off the pizza and then suck on the napkin...ignore the pizza.
THAT'S FUNNY!0 -
My deal with pizza.. go big, or go home
You cant enjoy pizza unless its the real deal. So do yourself a favor and work out extra hard before or after you enjoy it.
The only other healthy alternative is to make it yourself.0 -
Pizza meat. Skip anything but ham or Canadian bacon.
Pizza cheese. Lots of fat. Parmesan or pecorino romano not so bad.
Pizza crust. Thin crust good. healthy carbs.
Pizza sauce. really good, veggies.0 -
I just ordered a pizza. I asked them to go light on the sauce- just enough for flavor. Do you think that will make a big difference in calories? Also, I always blot the pizza with napkins to get the extra grease off.
Yup, sauce can add up. Some people say get "thin crust", I tried that and I just ended up eating more pizza and more calories than if I got regular. So I get regular, light sauce and blot grease and drink water or sugar free tea.0 -
Everything in moderation... I love the idea of whole wheat dough and minimal cheese and LOTS of veggies (hold the pepperoni and sausage). Never say no to your craving or it will turn into your obsession.0
