Two days ago I was pretty mad at someone so I had a very intense angry workout. I was a little too intense with about 20 minutes of seriously deep squats. Now I can't move! I know I could workout my arms but I really need cardio the most. What do you do when you've worked out so hard you're pretty much immobile? How do you not lose the motivation when your body makes you stop?

Go for a walk. It will be hard at first, but getting moving really helps with soreness.

I oversquatted last week. Riding my bike helped loosen it up. Some light walking is probably best. But I know that feeling so well. Nothing hurts quite as bad as trying to sit down, unless it's trying to sit down on hard toilet! It will only last about 4 days.

im doing this today. I worked my legs y esterday. I'm feeling it...not as bad as you though.

I do think moving slowly will help ease the lactic acid and maybe loosen you up.

I get you. I worked with a trainer on Monday and Tues, Wed and most of Thurs I felt like I was on fire. Pian upon movement was horrible. I walked on a treadmeill Tues about 2-2.2 mph and Thursday back to 3.3 mph. I felt much better because I had moved and today I am doing squats again this pm. I don't even feel the pain. We'll see after my gym time.

I second the epsom salts! There is also a gel called Bio-Freeze that you can get online that is AMAZING. It goes on a little smelly (like strong eucalyptus) but it dries scentless and it is WONDERFUL on sore muscles.

I second the hot bath and epson salt suggestion. Also, try to strech ... it will be hard in the beginning, but strech as much as you can and repet. It will help tremendously!
    Good luck!
