I really want to roast some garbanzo beans right now but dinner is in the oven and the oven is set at 325. Is it ok to roast the beans at this temp for a longer period of time rather than at 400?

I always roast them on 425

at 300 you'll be roasting them for quite some time.

I have put them in a saute pan before and let those babies crackle! A little cayenne pepper and sea salt so good! Now I am going to have some tonight! :) Good luck! ~CC

Do you do that with the beans from a can? Or are there specific ones you need? I've never heard of doing this, so this is why I'm curious...they sound yummy though!

Canned beans! Easy-peasy (pardon the pun:bigsmile: ) Actually I've never had them before so this is the first time! Can't wait.
