I haven't ever cooked shrimp, but I'd like to start trying. I'm looking for some simple recipes for shrimp. Thanks!

the easiest is grilling them, you can baste with some lemon butter, sprinkle with old bay or wrap in bacon. serve with a remoulade sauce

scampi is pretty easy to do as is cheesy shrimp and grits

I made this lo mein tonight, and it was fabulous! I told my husband that it would be good with shrimp.

    Bad link...

    Pan-Seared Shrimp

    2 tbs veg oil
1 1/2 pounds 21/25 shrimp, peeled and deveined
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp ground black pepper
    1/8 tsp sugar

Heat 1 tbs oil in 12 inch skillet over high heat until smoking. Meanwhile toss shrimp, salt, pepper & sugar in medium bowl. Add 1/2 shrimp to pan in single layer and cook until spotty brown and edges turn pink, about 1 minute. Remove pan from heat, using tongs flip each shrimp and let stand until all but very center is opaque, about 30 seconds. transfer to a plate, repeat with remaining shrimp. After 2nd batch has stood off heat return first batch to skillet and toss to combine. Cover skillet and let stand until shrimp are cooked through 1-2 minutes. serve immediately.

    Garlic-Lemon butter

beat 3 T softened butter with fork until fluffy, stir in 1 minced med clove garlic 1 tbs lemon juice and 2 tbs chopped parsley, and 1/8 tsp salt. add flavored butter when returning 2nd batch to skillet.

    Great on salad or pasta!

these are really good, though as much as i love all the toppings, they kind of take away from the flavor/spices on the shrimp. the mango salsa is a must though!
