this is outrageous. who in their right mind would make a costume for a disorder, and who on EARTH would buy it?! as if girls these days dont have enough complexes of their own...seeing a costume making anorexia seem ironic or mocked is just downright RIDICULOUS.

    Taken from the site :

Anna Rexia Costume, Anna Rexia Fancy Dress, Skeleton Fancy Dress, Skeleton Costume. Get your halloween skeleton outfit in early before they sell out!

We will be making a donation to the Eating Disorders Association for every costume sold this Halloween to help them tackle this issue. The outfit is not sold with a tape measure as we do not consider it appropriate.

I'm perplexed, not by the costume, but by the fact that an XSmall in the UK is a 6/8.

That makes me really sick. . and angry that someone would riducule those that are have gone through or are currently going through an eating disorder. . .

I should give that company a piece of my mind.

    EDIT:
How could they think this a good way to raise awareness. . Definitely not the way to go about it. donation or not!

I totally agree. :(You wouldn't dress up as a binge eater or an hiv patient, would you? This is so ridiculous and a terrible way to raise awareness. Talk about perpetuating stereotypes much...

^ Sizes in the UK are different from those in the US. A UK 6/8 is about 2/4.
