We've decided to let Team Alberta go and form a bigger team with the all us crazy canadians..lol

So please sign up and we can get started.

I was thinking weigh in on Wednesdays !!!

Post any ideas you have for keeping the team motivated and on track. :happy:

    Start weight 218 (Wedesday).

    Challenge Idea's:

    * Drink at least 5 cups of water per day (this will increase each week until we are at 8).

    * 1.5 hours of exercise this week (can be split up at 30 min per day, or whatever works for you).

    Post a message or something on here when you have completed each challenge!

    Yay! I love motivating each other. Everyone else, post what you think would be good too, these are just a few to get us started.

    Hope you're allowed to be on 2 teams...cause how can I not be on the Canadian one!

    I'm at 190 today...planning on being 180 on April 1st.

    Lets go fellow Canadians!! If any of you have read any of my other posts.. I have been here before and was only 9 lbs from my goal weight. then because of a knee injury I had to REALLY cut back on what I did.. and I kinda forgot about all this.:blushing: I had knee surgury again in November 08 and now I'm back at it full force!! Unfortunately I am now 12 lbs from my goal weight.
    Weigh in on Wednesdays is great!!!
    My starting weight is 137.
    Lets let everyone know where we are from in beautiful Canada!!
    I'm from Weyburn, Saskatachewan (transplanted from North Dakota and loving it, I've been a citizen for 5 years now!!):happy:

    Hubby has created me an awesome spread sheet for keeping track of everyone's weight so we
    will be able to post like the 3 biggest losers every week :drinker:

    I will start a thread where you can post when you completed your water and exercise challenge :smile:

    I would love to join this group!! I am from Saskatoon, Sk. I do not have a scale but my in-laws do and every Sunday we go over there for a meal together, is Sunday weigh in ok for me?? I am going to have to invest in a scale me thinks.
    I am (approx) 163 today, I will know exact tomorrow.

    Okay, I'm a day late! But I'm in!

    Starting Weight-160
    Goal for April 1-150
    Goal for June 1-140

    Okay, so I set short term goals & I have a rewards system for every 5 lbs....okay, goooo team!

    I'm from Nova Scotia (I used to live in Halifax) but now I live in England (since last July). I moved to be with my husband who is from England. I am so glad there's a Canadian group on here. :bigsmile:

    My weight is 166.

    so my husband and i went out and bought ourselves a scale today, so now i can do the wednesday weigh ins. my weight is different from what i measured last week at the inlaws. now my new scale says that im 157.3. so lets use that as my starting weight. Go team!

    woke up late this morning and was going to skip my workout... but I didn't!! I did it and felt so much better... and still got ready for work in time. I know I can do it now even if i wake up late...Making my workout my priority in the morning. Today was day one of the 6 days that I workout 30 - 45 minutes. so far today I have had 4 glasses of water and it's only 12:30 in the afternoon... but gotta get back to work... Go Team Canada!!!

    I started at 215
    am currently 182 or 181. My long term goal is 150-135 depending on how I feel and look.

    I'm new to this team.

    Jan. 1 started 225 ... today 215 ... I'm going to reach my goal of 140 by December 2009.

    I have successfully completed the 5 cup water challenge on Monday Jan 26.
    I have planned my healthy meals to stay in the 1200 cal range.
    I also exercised on the Elliptical machine for 60 minutes burning 777 calories.

    What makes us distinctly Canadian?

    1) We say "eh" a lot because that's the grade we got in school.

    thought i would let you know about my recent motivation . . . CABO!! my husband and i just decided that we are going in March. we were there for our honeymoon this past august. its such great motivation for me and my bikini!!

    i am sooooo excited!!!!
