For all the runners out there - Earbud question

Does anyone know if there are any earbuds that exist that actually stay in your ear while running? I have to run 13 miles in a week and I am sick of my earbuds falling out of my ear. I have tried every type out there it seems......in the ear, around the hear, and nothing stays in properly.
Please let me know so that I can purchase some new earbuds this weekend.
Thanks in advance.

I have Sony ones that have never fallen out. I run in them almost every day, even done a few half-marathons!0

I use these http://www.overstock.com/Electronics/Sony-MDR-EX38IP-Stereo-Earphones-Refurbished/5500722/product.html?cid=123620
Pardon the long link. I got mine new from bestbuy. I've run at least 200 miles in these (not all at the same time of course lol) and never even have to adjust them. Plus the remote works with my 6th gen iPod nano and iPod touch.0 -

I have that problem with certain types... the ones I got with my iPod are perfect for me- they stay in through SUPER intense workouts. I have seen some guys at the gym with the kind that wrap around your ear like a blue tooth but still fit snugly inside the ear like an ear bud...

you may just have the wrong size attachment in, i use skullcandy earbuds and they come with different attachments to fit you ear i use the medium and they fit perfect0

My wife bought me some ones that have different attachments, actually two different sizes. I think they are called Skull Candy, they fit into your ear canal and actually block out any outside noise. They will rarely fall out. They are the best ones I have had. The ones that come with the Ipod suck.0

Try a bit of medical tape to hold it in place. Peoples ears are shaped differently, I have never found anything that will stay in my ear, not even with the "blue tooth hook"0

i use a brand from walmart.. sadly I can't think of the name off hand and i dont have a pair handy right now.
But they are around 10.00. and they have 3 different size ear buds for them. I use the small set and they stay in great.0 -
Not sure if this would work with the standard "iPod type" earbuds, but with my JVC Marshmallows, I route the cord over the top of my ear so the cord tugs on my ear instead of the earbud.0

The Sony ones never fall out and the sound is amazing.0

I have very small ears and all earbuds fall out. Try getting a wide stretchy headband and wearing it over your ears to keep your earbuds in. Like this:

We Sony lovers should find out who wears different size buds and do a swap. I'll take all the mediums0

Thanks so much everyone, greatly appreciated0

I use some that I believe are a Best Buy brand called Rocketfish. I have very small ear canals and they are the only ones that work for me.0

When I did my half marathon, I picked up a pair of Yurbuds at the expo. LOVE LOVE them.0

hey determined!! i have the same problem! i have tried the different size buds, the ones that suction into your ears, the ones that loop around your ears, etc. i have concluded that i just have strangely shaped ear holes! i use sony stereo headphones for walkman use http://www.kmart.com/shc/s/p_10151_10104_018W352669110001P?prdNo=20&blockNo=20&blockType=G20
nope, they aren't sleek or sexy, but that stay put and keep me from cursing throughout my whole run!! lol plus, i get them at k mart for less than ten bucks. in my opinion, they last much longer than they should given the price and how much i sweat!!
good luck. i feel your pain and frustration at having buds fall out during runs!! :explode:0 -
I have my tragus pierced and it is the most annoying thing to not be able to have the ear buds stay in my ears! I hope that one of these suggestions will work for me!0
