For the past few days I've been so hungry...I never feel satisfied, I always feel as if I've hardly eaten at all, when in reality I always eat all of my daily calories -_- Its a real battle not going over. I wish I was one of those people who never feels hungry :frown:

  • Oh, I hear ya!! Especially in the begining, I think it's natural. I am the same way though, the insaitiable appetite. Whenever I eat I'm thinking "When do I get to eat again??" I hate it!! I am a foodie!! Some one sent me an e-mail the other day about the "I forgot to eat" people. It goes on to say "I've forgotten appointments, my parents' anniversary, etc. but it really takes a special person to 'forget to eat'!" Yup, never once have I forgotten to eat!! That is probably the least possible thing for me to "forget"!!

How many cals are you eating each day? If excercising are you eating back at least a portion of those cals as well? Might try spreading the meals out to 5-6 mini meals each day if you've not yet tried that. It helps keep you blood sugars leveled out which helps with keeping the hungry feeling at bay. It also is great for keeping your metabolism boosted all day.

For snacks have you tried out adding PB, nuts, avocado, things that are higher in protein & healthy fats, they can really help satisfy your appetite.

Just some ideas you may or maynot already been doing.. hope something here helps you!:flowerforyou:

one of the things to keep in mind when it comes to hunger is the mental aspect. maybe you should take a moment and ask yourself if you're REALLY hungry, or if it's some other reason that you feel like eating.

i know it takes a while for the hunger feeling to go away, and even 3 weeks since starting and eating 500 calories more than my recommended amount i still feel hungry fairy regularly, so maybe it really takes some time for your body to change what it considers hungry. just some thoughts.

One word PROTIEN!!!!! Think lean healthy protien your body works harder to break it down and thats what makes you feel staisfied.
  • Oh I agree! Some people that say that can't even eat all of their daily calories...I wish I had that problem, but its getting better. It might be the type of things you are eating that are not filling you up. Make sure to get your protein in and all your water.
