    Yes Maria, it is getting cool up in my neck of the woods. Woke up this morning to 28 degrees this morning and a high of 50 something. I have been walking on my treadmill this week.

    Tonight I ran 1 mile and walked 4 miles.

    update for me
    wed: 2.5miles (walk)
    thursday: 2miles (walk)

    may go for a run today but either way am happy with my mileage for now plus there's the weekend still so should get another 5miles in :)

    6k last night brings me up to 24.23 miles.

    I did 6k in my usual 5k time, and I'm almost back to the point where I can consistently burn 1000 calories in 50 minutes rather than 60 =)

    WAY TO GO!! That's awesome :D Getting stronger 1 mile (or Ks in your case lol) at a time!

    I like winter! But yeah, I feel you about the layers. We're getting snow here tomorrow so I'll have to layer up quite a bit for Sunday too!

    Yeah! Crossed a state line! Bring it on!

    I wear so many layers and I still freeze my butt off. I am the biggest cold wimp EVER. And, I have a circulation problem so if I let my hands or feet get too cold my fingers and toes turn white, no blood at all. I kinda look like a moron jogging down the street with my hands in my pits trying to warm them up!

    You gotta do what you gotta do. And even if you do look like a moron (which I doubt), you're a FIT moron so keep on running!
    I personally rock knee-high snowboarding socks (black and magenta stripes) and shorts.

    You guys should be fine. The nastiest part of the system is staying off the coast. We're getting 4-6 inches here in Frederick :(
