question about logging calories with your HRM

When you use your heart rate monitor, when do you hit the end exercise button. Do you do it when you are immediately done, or after you cool down and finish stretching?
I normally do it when my heart rate hits a normal level and I'm done stretching, but sometimes this adds 10-15mins to my time. Just curious what others do...

I usually stop it as soon as I finish exercising, but I've never heard how you should do this. It does make sense to wait until your heart rate returns to normal or close to normal. You're still burnng calories at that point.0

I stop it once I cross my "finish line" for the run. I mostly do it the so I can remember my time so I can calculate my pace for my run.0

Yes, I wait until my heartrate is at least close to 90 (not resting yet but lower) which does add about 15-20 minutes but I think of that as BONUS.0
